Entrance into the Presence of God
At first the Holy Spirit surprised me with His presence. I would be reading in the bible and would feel like there were little eclectic shocks going through my mind and my body. I didn't know what that was but I knew I liked it. Sometimes I would be crying in torment then suddenly without any warning I would feel incredible peace of God calming and loving me. When I was a new-born babe in Christ, I could spiritually feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. I had no idea how to continue these experiences but I knew that it happened at random and I felt peace and pleasure. The first 29 years of my Christian experience was one of endurance and working for God feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit only occasionally. This led to a see-saw Christian experience. I still drank alcohol, chased men, and had loose and wild negative emotions.
There were times when I would go to church or Christian gatherings and be overcome by the Holy Spirit's presence. This was somehow done by a Christian filled with the presence of God. That Holy Spirit filled person could somehow impart the glory of Glory of God by touching, waving or pointing at me; I would fall on the floor and be overcome with love, peace and the pleasure of God. Once, I asked a friend that I considered much more spiritual than I how I can keep the peace and pleasure of God on me all the time. She said "Oh, that. That only last for a few days and then it will disappear." I was so disappointed because I wanted "that feeling" all the time.
Finally, after 35 years of searching, I know that my spiritual friend was wrong. The gate to Holy Spirit Bliss is open but I had to be prepared to walk through the door. The glorious bliss of the Holy Spirit does not come easy and I found that the Holy Spirit prepared me by the giving me the following supernatural impartations of the extreme:
Extreme hunger for Jesus Christ
Extreme readiness to meditate on bible scriptures
Extreme readiness to receive the His presence at any time
Extreme desire to have people physically healed
Extreme desire to have people emotionally healed
Extreme knowing that it is not all about me but all about Jesus Christ
Extreme desire to be thankful, praise His name, pray
Extreme desire to hear His voice, dream His dreams, speak His words
Extreme lack of interest in any ministry that was all talk and no Holy Spirit action.
Extreme desire to be where there is an open atmosphere to the glorious presence of God and His signs, wonders and miracles.
There was no way I could have that extreme passion out of my own efforts. This was a direct impartation to my soul from the Holy Spirit. I was ready to be extreme and the Holy Spirit gives me the passion to do so. Everyone is different but know that God will not lead you to say or do anything against His words in the bible. Everything needs to be done in balance and in context to His word. Know God will not want you to leave your husband, wife or children because they are not understanding you but He will give you supernatural knowledge to live in peace and joy in your family.
How does God move? I do not know...he just shows up. It's like dancing....He leads and I follow by sensing His movements. You have to know your partner--how he leads, his dance movements. Moving in the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit takes a relationship of knowing Him, hearing His voice, sensing His movement. This takes time and practice. I do know that the Holy Spirit can show His presence in times of prayer, thanksgiving, praise, fellowship with other believers. Go where there is an atmosphere of His presence and permit other Holy Spirit filled Christians impart their knowledge to you. Thank God that I can go into His presence more often because I can sense Him through my spirit more often. Praise God, that Christians can only go deeper and deeper with no end to the depth of His presence.
Once you are in His presence soak. Soaking is just resting and permit the Holy Spirit to do what He wants in you. The Holy Spirit may want to talk to you. He may want to heal your wounded parts. He may want to cast out demons oppressing you. Let Him have His way. Do not rush the movement of His presence. If you cry or your body shakes that is only your physical body reacting to the presence of God. Just rest and permit the Holy Spirit to do His work in you.
How do you know that was the Holy Spirit and not another spirit or counterfeit? Your spirit knows by the peace given to you at the time. When your soaking is done for the moment, you will notice the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifesting in your behavior, in your emotions, and in your heart. There will be supernatural impartation of love, joy, peace, patience, self-control, and endurance. Your regenerated born again nature will begin to give you life as you never imagined life so good.
