Forgiveness Affidavit

Forgiveness Affidavit:
Prayer of Forgiveness
Dear
Father God,
In
the name of Jesus, and as an act of my free will, I purpose and choose the
forgive (Person’s Name) from my heart for (what they did.)
In
the name of Jesus, I break and cancel Satan’s power over me in this memory,
and the resulting pain. I hate the
devil and I renounce all of his evil works in my life.
In
the name of Jesus, I command all the tormentors that have been assigned to me
because of my unforgiveness to leave me now.
Holy
Spirit, I invite You to come into my heart and heal me of this pain and this
deep hurt. Holy Spirit, please
reveal Your truth to me in this situation. (Pause quietly and allow the Holy
Spirit to speak to your heart. Listen
carefully to what He has to say.)
Thank
you, Father God, that because of the work that my Lord Jesus did on the cross my
forgiveness, healing and freedom from the past hurts are possible.
In
Jesus’ Name,
AMEN

Ask
the Holy Spirit to speak His truth to you in each situation.
God will speak in your heart. His
word is the final word on the subject and He promises forgiveness (1John 1:9).
God
is faithful to do His part and forgive, if we do our part.
The Holy Spirit will complete the work of forgiveness in your heart.
The sin of unforgiveness will no longer stand between you and God, or
between you and others. God will
declare you righteous and shameless. You
will regain your “right standing” as an heir of God with all the
blessing it carries. The peace that
passes all understanding will fill you (John
14:27).
Satan
and His tormentors have no legal right to you when you confess your sins and
forgive others and yourself. (Eph.4:27) You
are free! John 8:36 says, “If
the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
Praise God!
